Managed database

Managed databases without manual installation and maintenance

Create a Dorsa Cloud managed database in the panel and connect your application. We handle installation, backups and monitoring while you focus on your business.

Managed databaseManaged Database

Ready-to-use databases with backup, monitoring and controlled network access.

  • Up to eight database engines
  • Backups in project storage
  • Hourly costs based on selected resources
What it does for you

Your data; our maintenance

Database setup and maintenance take time. With managed databases, we handle those tasks so your team can focus on building software.

  • Create a database from the panel; we install its server.
  • Increase database CPU, RAM or storage whenever needed.
  • Back up data and keep it in your project's storage.
  • Review database status and resource usage in the panel.
  • Only the servers and networks you authorize can connect to the database.
  • Billing is hourly, with estimates available before provisioning.
Available engines

Cloud PostgreSQL, MySQL and Redis for your application

Up to eight established engines are available; the panel shows active engines. Ask us if you are unsure which one is right for you.

  • PostgreSQL

For most applications, stores and financial systems

    • Restore from backup
    • Run 1 to 9 nodes for high availability
  • MySQL

For websites, online stores and common web applications

    • Single-node deployment
  • MariaDB

    A MySQL-compatible alternative

    • Single-node deployment
  • MongoDB

For data without a fixed structure

    • Single-node deployment
  • Redis / Valkey

Fast storage for caches and user sessions

    • Single-node deployment
  • OpenSearch

    Text search and log analysis

    • Single-node deployment
    • Disabled in some deployments
  • SQL Server

For applications built with Microsoft tools

    • Single-node deployment
  • Elasticsearch

    Search and analyze large datasets

    • Single-node deployment

Manual backups are available for every engine. The creation form shows only options supported by the selected engine.

Features

Database management capabilities

  • Up to eight database engines

From PostgreSQL and MySQL to MongoDB and Redis, choose the engine your application uses.

  • Resize from the panel

As your business grows, increase database resources in the panel and restart the database.

  • Backup and restore

Take manual backups with every engine. PostgreSQL also supports restore and creating a new database from a backup.

  • Controlled access

The database is within your project network, and you control how it is accessed.

  • Monitoring in the panel

See CPU, RAM and storage usage for each database in one place.

  • Change access password

Change PostgreSQL passwords in the panel. Passwords are not displayed in the panel.

Who it is for

For teams and businesses of different sizes

Online businesses

Run a website or store without spending team time maintaining a database server.

Software teams

Create and test databases quickly without manual installation, then focus on your main work.

Organizations

Provide different teams with databases, backups and controlled access.

Get started

Your database is ready in three steps

  1. Sign up and create a project

Create an account and define a project for your services.

  2. Choose engine and resources

Choose the database engine, version and size, and estimate costs before provisioning.

  3. Connect your application

Configure network access and connect your application to the database.

Frequently asked questions

Before creating your first database

Can't find your answer? Contact us and we will help.

Which databases can I create?

PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, Redis/Valkey, SQL Server, Elasticsearch and OpenSearch. Active engines depend on deployment settings and are shown in the creation form.

Are all features available for every engine?

No. Backup restore and password changes are currently supported only for PostgreSQL. The panel shows only options supported by the selected engine.

Where are backups stored?

Choose an active storage space in the same project when taking a backup. The system manages its access key, which is not shown in the panel.

Can I run a database on multiple nodes?

PostgreSQL alone supports 1 to 9 nodes, allowing others to respond if one fails. Other engines, including MongoDB, OpenSearch and Elasticsearch, currently run on one node.

How are costs calculated?

Billing is hourly, based on selected resources and time of use. Estimate costs in the calculator before provisioning.
