Pricing

Cloud server pricing: hourly and usage-based

The cost of a cloud server or other Dorsa Cloud service depends on your selected resources and time of use. Learn how billing works here and use the calculator for an estimate of your configuration.

Billing model

How cloud server costs are calculated

Four straightforward rules to know before you start.

  • Hourly billing

Each service is billed hourly; you do not need to pay for a full month upfront.

  • While the service exists

Charges are calculated hourly based on selected resources and the time a service exists. A stopped server is still billed until it is deleted.

  • Separate costs for each project

Services belong to projects, so you can see each project's resources and costs separately.

  • Estimate before provisioning

Select resources in the calculator before creating a service to see monthly and hourly estimates.

Common questions

Common questions about payments and invoices

How are services billed?

Cost has two components: the resources selected for a service, such as CPU, RAM and disk capacity, and the time the service exists, whether running or stopped.

Is the calculator estimate the final price?

No. The calculator estimates one month's costs. The final amount is recorded on each period's invoice based on actual usage.

Does deleting a service stop its charges?

Yes. A service is billed only while it exists. Its charges stop on deletion. If you retain a public or floating IP after deleting its server, IP charges continue separately.

Where do the calculator's prices come from?

The calculator reads the latest pricing registered in Dorsa Cloud directly.

Where can I see invoices and cost details?

In the client panel's finance section. It shows the current bill, orders, line items, usage periods and each item's amount.
